18.06.10Target Ovarian Cancer's first Gala Dinner a great success Hosted by Gaby Roslin, 200 people gathered together to show their support for Target Ovarian Cancer at its first Gala Dinner.
In the beautiful surroundings of the Gladstone Library at One Whitehall Place, guests enjoyed a champagne reception, three course meal and entertainment from West End star Rosemary Ashe.
Appeals on the night were made by Target Ovarian Cancer Chairman Joanna Barker and broadcaster Sandi Toksvig. A substantial amount was also raised from the Tree of Life, silent auction and live auction conducted by Nick Bonham. Money is still coming in from the event, so we are yet to announce the final amount raised.
We'd like to pass on our thanks to the Gala Committee and everyone who contributed to making the event such a huge success.
